I provide bioinformatics support to the team especially for analysis and interpretation of sequencing data.

Upon completing a PhD in Physics in 2009, I changed course and embarked on genomic research where I have since acquired interesting and varied experience, initially as statistical geneticist working to understand the genetic underpinning of complex human traits, then as bioinformatician evaluating and analysing genome sequence data for multiple projects and large consortia, and also as software developer building automated pipeline management systems to streamline large scale data processing.

I maintain an interest in statistics and machine learning which has led me to teach in training courses.
