Soraya is a Ph D in Genetics and Biotechnologies with a background in cell and molecular biology. She is back in science after a long maternity leave with a thirst for scientific research, very interested by the use of NGS and Gene editing technologies in cancer research.

She is helping the different wet lab projects such as but not limited to the experimental validation of cancer signatures and the modelling of rare neurodegenerative diseases. She is also interested in learning and applying bioinformatics methods for her work.

Out of work Soraya enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She is pleased to chat about science at any time.
